Did we pick a name?

Maybe. We picked a couple we really like, which is major progress....
No, I'm not going to tell you.

All I know is, even knowing that BoyBest has A name is reassuring cuz up until this point I wasn't sure I could ever name him.

I have been assured through my dreams and prayers, and prayers of others that he is going to be a strong leader in the church and a great man... Well, there you have it. Who can name the boy that has that spoken as his legacy?

I have to admit I am pretty bummed I didn't go to the special meeting with Ken Fish this last weekend, because I just betcha God woulda had something for him to say. But my absence isn't above God...He can find someone else to tell me, or He can tell me Himself!

So anyway... The current impression I have is that he will be a strong leader, but also kind and peaceable. Well, as it turns out, the two names I currently like happen to mean those things. And as it turns out, the Biblical owner of one of the names was a psalmist and he wrote a pretty amazing psalm that fills me (and I'm sure the Lord) with joy.

So....that said, I just need to figure out if that is MY baby's name... or if it's the other one I also like, who was also a great guy and obeyed God even when He looked foolish.

Either way, this little person is going to grow up into a big person, and the name we choose needs to suit him throughout his life, which I think both would.
And since a name is a promise, I believe whichever name we choose will be a great promise.

So there you have it. We may or may not have chosen a name for BoyBest. ;)

HAHAHA I just re-read my ramblings... I'm ridiculous!

Happy reading, kids!

For the last time, Zoidberg is not Biblical!!!

Anywho, now that you've shot my choice down I'd just like to say that I officially withdraw my offer to videotape the birth.

I wish I had a more deep and wisdom-filled response but I'm taking this name thing pretty hard.
